The Innerwork Center is a Richmond-based nonprofit organization focusing on well-being through programs that inspire curiosity, cultivate mindfulness, and awaken the spirit.
The memberships went low and have dropped off since COVID. They need to create a new model with several options for access, a way for their vendors to track/promote, and continuously seek to reach a wider audience and that will add more value to their annual memberships.
Our goal was to think about how might we communicate with and cater to the target audience of The Innerwork Center to build brand awareness. We needed to create an innovative and user-friendly income stream that attracts all age ranges and focuses on bettering mental health, and self-care and also to set up this project with a full plan on how to execute it from a non-profit's budget, along with the resources needed.
In my role, I was part of market research, designing different visual promotions, and improving/adding new design features to their current website.
After the project ended, I worked further as part of the Innerwork team to continue this project, designing their new web membership page.
